Wizkid: Nigerian Star Gets Great News

Wizkid’s album ‘Made in Lagos’ spent four weeks at number one on the Billboard charts after it entered the charts in October 2020.

The Nigerian musician has thus set a new record in the Billboard world album chart.

Wizkid’s “Made in Lagos” has become the first Nigerian album to stay on the chart for a year, according to Billboard Music.


After debuting on the Billboard chart in October 2020, the album spent four weeks at No. 1, which is also the longest period a Nigerian artist has stayed at No. 1. The only other album to achieve this feat was Burnaboy’s “Twice as tall” which stayed at number one for 1 week.
