We are open daily from 10am to 6pm, Fridays until 10pm. Last admission is 30 minutes before we close. Entry to the building is free. You are welcome to come in and use our shop, restaurant and café, go on a tour of the Fine Rooms or view the Michelangelo tondo in the Sackler Wing.

There is a charge to see the loan exhibitions in the main galleries and Sackler Wing galleries. Ticket prices vary for each exhibition. If you are registered disabled you will pay a concessionary rate and any carers get in for free. You can buy tickets from the frosted-glass desk on the right as you enter the Front Hall. The desk is 900mm or 35 inches high and has a pull-out stainless steel shelf. Groups and disabled visitors may also buy tickets in advance.
